Argo Engineering specialises in the design of weight-critical, robust structures. If engaged early in design, we can use our understanding, geometry and advanced materials (composites, plastics and metallic materials) to resist loads. We pride ourselves on buildable solutions that bring our engineering and workshop experience to the design process.
At Argo we are used to working with cutting-edge engineering and materials, supporting architects from a blank sheet of paper to bringing concepts to life. We are adept at assessing a number of design proposals, using our creativity and imagination to undertake weight optimisation, CFD, structural and dynamic studies. We work from initial design through to production, with an emphasis on customization to suit the end users individual needs. Our Finite Element Analysis (FEA) skills can focus on designs satisfying structural and environmental constraints. We have provided laminate drawings for series production, created detailed 3D engineering models to nut and bolt level and provided tooling design and ongoing engineering support post installation. We have experience in the development of mould tools, standard interface details and fittings for both small and large assemblies and are used to working with a variety of materials.
